James Lewis Haskins

James Lewis Haskins, 67, a resident of Church Street, passed away March 26, 2020 at his home. James was born in Bennington, VT on February 18, 1953 the son of the late Philip J. and Rita Brown Haskins and attended Wilmington schools. James worked as a logger for his entire working career. He enjoyed fishing, listening to country music and being around his home and his family He also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and reading the newspaper. James is survived by his children Gloria Cady and her husband Peter of Keene, NH, Melinda Haskins of South Carolina and Roy Haskins of Brattleboro, VT, his sister Betty Betit and her husband Roland of Wilmington, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two nephews Brad Betit and Ronnie Betit. He was preceded in death by his daughter in infancy Rita Haskins. Graveside funeral services for James will be private. There are no visiting hours.
