Allen T. Wilcox

Allen T. Wilcox, 58, a resident of W Lake Road, passed away January 3, 2015 at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Allen was born in Bennington, Vermont on October 8, 1956 the son of Bernice and Phyllis (Temple) Wilcox and attended local schools. Allen worked as a general contractor in the local area for many years. He loved building model airplanes, cars and boats and loved his dogs. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Allen is survived by his children Vaughn B. Wilcox of Wells, Cher-Allyn Powers and her husband David and Chelley Tifft and her husband Dana all of Danby, Vermont, brother Gary Wilcox and his wife Diane of Manchester Center, Vermont and their children Jennifer and Brian Rogers and their son Trevor of Rutland, Vermont and Michael and Genevieve and their two sons Garrett and Dylan also of Rutland, Vermont and grandchildren Angelia, Ryan and Charleigh. He was Preceded in death by his sister Diana Wilcox who died September 2, 2014. Funeral services for Allen will be held Friday January 9, 2015 at 11am at Brewster & Shea Funeral Service 34 Park Place Manchester Center, Vermont. Interment will be private. There are no visiting hours. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Allen's memory may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter c/o of Brewster & Shea Funeral Service P.O.
