Anna "Annie" Louise Travis

Anna "Annie" Louise Travis died January 9, 2023.  Born March 9, 1924, she was a long-time resident of Bennington, VT.  Her life was enriched by her love of animals and she found satisfying work at Mount Anthony Animal Hospital.  Later, she was employed as a dental assistant for Drs. Coulter and Lapidus in Williamstown, MA.

She was predeceased by her husband Chuck and son David, both of whom she cared for through ALS.  Annie's intelligence, wisdom, compassion and wit will be remembered by her daughter-in-law Judith Travis, grandchildren Ross Travis and Jesse Travis, great grandchildren Avalon and Larkin Heltzer, nieces Cornelia Hill and Susan Meese, and by friends Cindy Cook Sault, Sally Stevens Eldred, Renee Wiman, Fran Bedini and by many others who knew her.
