Arlene R. Pratt

Arlene R. Pratt 87 a resident of Dean Road passed peacefully Sunday March 29, 2015 in Bennington. The daughter of Louis Edward and Georgiana (King) Harris Sr., she was born in North Pownal on December 8, 1927. She attended area schools and married Lyman S. Pratt in Bennington on September 25, 1946, he died December 19, 2006.For over 30 years she had worked at the Pownal Tannery. Arlene enjoyed crocheting, completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, but most of all the quality time she spent with her family.She leaves her son Roger Pratt and fiance Grace Hartnett , daughter Beverly Haley and husband Skip all of Pownal, grandchildren Melissa Haley Reardon, Todd Haley, Nicki Condon, Kevin Pratt, Kelli Pratt and Ted Pratt, sisters Joyce Thomas of Cambridge, NY and Marilyn Woodard of North Pownal, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by siblings Mildred Hurley, Louis Harris Jr., Leo Harris Sr., and Leona Miller.In keeping with Arlene's wishes, there will be no service, she will be buried with her husband in Oak Hill Cemetery.
