Arnold Young

Arnold H Young, age 69, a resident of Jamaica VT passed away on Sunday June 10, 2018 at the Vermont Veteran's Home in Bennington VT. The son of Raymond P. Young Sr and Lois S (Reynolds) Young, he was born in Brattleboro VT on July 20, 1948. He graduated from Leland & Gray Seminary, after graduating he entered the U.S. Army where he served in the Vietnam War. Arnie worked for many years at Kearley Fuel in Jamaica, VT and Intervale Condominium Association in Bondville, VT, as well as providing caretaking services on the side. He was a member of the American Legion West River Valley Post 16 and a member of the West Townshend Seventh Day Adventist Church. He leaves his family, wife Donna Young of Jamaica, VT and his former wife Judith Holden of West Townshend VT as well as children and grandchildren; Lori & Tom Staib of West Townshend and their daughter Sarah Staib of Arlington, Linda & Jerry Hescock and their daughters Ashely & Kelsey of Wardsboro, Julie & Randy Barrows of Wardsboro and their sons Nathan & Bryan, Marci & Ray Barrows of Jamaica and their son Chris, Kenny Chase & his friend Sherry Titus-Lawrence of Jamaica. He leaves his brother Peter Young and sisters Judy Young and Connie Bentley, all of Wardsboro, VT. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond Sr. & Lois Young, brothers Jerry, Ray Jr & Robert Young, and daughter Lisa Young Noble & Perry Chase III.
