Avis A Therriault

Avis A. Therriault, 73 a former resident of Barney Road passed away peacefully at The Centers For Living and Rehabilitation on Tuesday December 22, 2020. The daughter of the late Rolf and Ruth (Smith) Adams, she was born in Hyde Park, VT on February 18, 1947. She grew up in Hyde Park where she attended local schools graduating from Lamoille Central Academy, Avis continued her education at Waterbury State School where she concentrated on psychiatric evaluation and worked in the drug rehabilitation unit. Avis had always enjoyed bowling and being with her grandchildren. She leaves her son Wade Hill (Beth) of Pownal, grandsons Joseph Hill (Samantha) and Bradley Hill (Sarah) , great grandchildren Landon, Pieton and Dylan . Brother Ason Adams of Morrisville, sister Mary Hanson of Florida, several nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Theriault. Services will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery in the spring of 2021.
