Barbara (Bobbi) Lee Mcdonough

Bobbi passed away peacefully at her home in Arlington, VT of natural causes on April 26th.Bobbi was born in Phoenix, AZ on December 14, 1973 to John T. McDonough and Barbara (Grabowski) McDonough. Bobbi graduated from Arlington Memorial High School in 1992. Bobbi then continued her childhood passion for horses and attended Equine studies at Southern Seminary College in Virginia. Bobbi was an advocate for animal rights and a member of PETA. Bobbi was zealous for everything she believed in and lived her life with the integrity of her beliefs. Over the years Bobbi was blessed enough to be able to follow her passion for horses by training horses and riders as well as working with a therapeutic riding program however, her greatest joy in life was her son Trystan. Bobbi and Trystan could be found frequently at Battenkill Stables working with the animals, playing in the river or looking for turtles. Other things that made her happy included dragging her father to the barn to compose her annual Christmas card with Trystan and the horses. Bobbi also loved Halloween, she loved decorating the house and dressing up in her Cheetah costume. She was also a very creative, artistic and spiritual young woman. She will be greatly missed.Bobbi is survived by her son, Trystan Phoenix, her parents John & Barbara McDonough of Arlington, VT, her three sisters and spouses, Michele & Paul Wilcox of Chester, VT, Jacqueline & Kevin Glaser of Virginia Beach, VA, Donna & Gary Gunther or Arlington, VT. Nieces and nephews, John Gunther, Brooke & Hunter Wilcox, and Alexandra & Austin Glaser.
