Barry E. Main, Sr.

Barry E. Main, Sr., a resident of Beech Street passed away March 25, 2025 at Albany Medical Center. Barry was born in Bennington on May 31, 1963 the son of the late Norman and Phyllis (Squires) Main and attended local schools. Barry worked for various companies in the Bennington area including Mack Molding, Hannaford, Bennington Banner and was a school bus driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing attending county fairs, doing yardwork and cherished times spent with his family especially his children and grandchildren. Barry is survived by his wife Wanda (Allen) Main, children Kimmy Main (William) of Bennington, Barry Main, Jr., Kevin Main, Brandy Flannigan (Eric) and Angela Robinson (Norm) all of Bennington, siblings Melanie Slavin (Larry) of Florida, Lisa Kelly ( Brian) of North Carolina, Jeff Main (Sue) of Pownal and Brian Main (Marie) of Bennington, best friend Peddie Jenkins of North Bennington, grandchildren Lakela, Aubrey, Sierra, Kendra and Brook and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandson Scott Barry Flannigan and siblings Steve Main and Danny Main Sr. Services for Barry will be held April 12, 2025 at 12pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT.
