Beulah B. Cottrell

Beulah B. Cottrell, 93, a resident of Homestead Green, passed away April 14, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Beulah was born in Bennington on May 10, 1928 the daughter of the late Frank and Edna Grover Buffum. She attended local schools and graduated from Arlington Memorial High School in 1946. Beulah worked for the Salvation Army in Bennington, owned her own ceramic shop in Walloomsac, was a caregiver to the elderly and retired from Union Carbide in 1984. She was a former member of the Eagles, VFW and the Moose Club and enjoyed taking care of her animals and sewing canvas. Beulah is survived by her children Donna Kay Cameron of Adams, Massachusetts, Gloria Jean Littlefield of North Bennington, Sharon Ann Schmigel of Hoosick Falls, NY and Connie Lee Felion (David) of Walloomsac, NY, 20 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Littlefield whom she married in 1946. Mr. Littlefield passed away in April, 1983. She was also preceded in death by sisters Patricia B. Alcombright and Roberta Renee Kennedy and her brother Clifford Buffum. Funeral services for Beulah will be held Tuesday April 19, 2022 at 2pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT. Interment will be private. A time of visitation will be held Tuesday April 19, 2022 from 1-2pm one hour prior to the service.
