Brenda G. Gottardi

Brenda G. Gottardi 77 a resident of Main Street in Readsboro passed away Saturday May 21, 2016 at The Centers For Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington . Brenda was born in North Adams, MA on January 6, 1939, she was the daughter of Zeph and Beulah Scott. She grew up in North Adams and attended local schools there. She was married to Robert Gottardi Sr. who died June 15, 2015.Brenda had worked at the former Readsboro Chair Shop and later at Hogback Mountain Gift Shop. She enjoyed completing puzzles, cooking and caring for her family, she will be remembered as a loving caring wife and mother.She leaves her son Robert Gottardi Jr. of Readsboro, brother Robert Scott of Readsboro, sisters Joan Lacour and Lynn Gottardi both of Readsboro, grandsons Josh Gottardi of Dover and Trevor Gottardi of Wilmington, a great granddaughter Mickenna , nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons Layne Gottardi, who died October 18, 1997, and Duane Gottardi, who died March 19, 2015. Private graveside services will be held at the Village Cemetery in Readsboro where she will join her husband and sons.
