Brian A. Prentiss, Sr., 96, a resident of West Acton, MA and Chester, VT passed away Monday December 27, 2021 at his home peacefully. He was a native of North Adams, MA, born August 17, 1925 to the late Harold O. and Mary Charperon Prentiss. Mr. Prentiss served in the United Sates Air Force, graduated from Westford Academy and East Coast Aero Tech and had his pilot training at the University of Missouri. He was stationed at Amarillo, TX, Kingman, AZ, Burbank, CA and Furimaki Japan flying weather missions over Korea. He was a Korean Conflict veteran, was an avid sportsman and belonged the Concord Rod & Gun Club from inception having helped build it. He retired from General Motors Corporation in Framingham, MA after 31 years of service. Mr. Prentiss was preceded in death by his brother, son-in-law Carl Robinson and one grandchild. He is survived by his wife of 72 years Dorothy DeSouza Prentiss of Vermont, sons Brian A. Prentiss, Jr of New Hampshire and David J. Prentiss of Vermont, daughter Deborah F. M. Robinson of Massachusetts, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Brian’s memory to the charity of one’s choice. Graveside services for Mr. Prentiss for family and friends to attend will be held Friday December 31, 2021 at 11am at Mount Hope Cemetery in W. Acton, MA.
