Bruce P Knapp

Bruce P. Knapp, 66 of Bennington, VT passed away at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center on January 14, 2024 surrounded by his family. Bruce was educated and born in Bennington on August 10, 1957; the son of the late Lawrence Knapp and Vivian (Caron) Knapp. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Cindy (Mason) Knapp. In his earlier years Bruce worked in construction; as handyman, Electrical cord mfg, Mack Mold, NASTECH, then as a plant manager at WCW Hoosick Falls, NY from where he retired from. He enjoyed fishing; hunting, camping, MMMA, UFC, boxing (with Dad) and loved his pug Sadie. Bruce is survived by his step children Noel (Laura) Hilliard of FL and Kelsey (Ray) Bunting of TN. and a son Barrett Reed (Amanda) of NC. Several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by four brothers and sister, Francis Knapp of  Hoosick Falls, NY; Peter (Debbie) Knapp of Shaftsbury, VT,  Rosemary(Francis) Kinney of Shaftsbury, VT, Jeff (Brenda) Knapp of  Shaftsbury, VT. Following Bruce's wishes there will be no formal funeral service at this time. A Celebration of his Life will  be held at the VFW, Bennington January 27, 2024, 2-5pm for family and friends.  If friends desire, memorial donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to a go-fund me account to help with funeral expenses.
