Carey Elaine Starbird

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Carey Elaine Starbird (Langston), 48, of Bennington, Vermont, on July 30th, 2022. Carey was born in Yuba City, California on July 2nd, 1974, the daughter of Roger Langston and the late Jeanette Potter. Carey enjoyed many outdoor activities such as gardening or going for walks, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a very caring and generous person, an amazing mother who always put her children first and was a great friend to anyone in need. She is survived by her two sons Joseph E. Botz and Paul D. Starbird, her daughter Kara M. Starbird, her step children Douglas G. Starbird Jr. and Yvonne R. Starbird, her brother Kris Langston, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Carey was predeceased by her husband, Douglas G. Starbird Sr., whom she married June 10, 2000. A celebration of life for Carey will be held at the Pittsfield Cemetery on August 27th, 2022 at 1 pm at the family plot where her husband Douglas is buried.
