Carole A. Snow, 79, passed away at her home in Fort Pierce FL on July 2, 2018, after a long illness, with family members near. Born in the Bronx, December 19, 1938 to the late Harry & Rose Hecht. Carole was married to her loving late husband, Thomas J. Snow Jr, for 59 years. Carole worked for TWA Airlines before starting her family, lived on Long Island, then moving to Hillsdale, NY. Along with her husband, ran and operated the Snow's Superette & Liquor Store for 15 years. Then moving to Arlington VT to open Snow's Arlington Dairy Bar for the last 25 years, then moving to Fort Pierce, FL in 2017. Carole was a member of the Hillsdale Fire Dept., Roe-Jan Lion and Knights of Columbus Auxiliaries. She loved camping, the ocean, reading books, doing ceramics, playing bocce, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Carole is survived by her 5 children: Edward (Ann), Daniel (Kathy), Trish (Steve), Thomas III, Kathy (Greg). 9 grandchildren: Edward Snow Jr., Ashley Snow, Kristi Borger, Danny Snow, Tim Snow, CJ Hills III, Tyler Hills, Hunter Hills, Kyle Tamburro and 10 great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Eileen Armstrong and Diane Fitzgerald, 2 nephews: Keith & Corey Fitzgerald, and many cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: Visiting hours will be held Thursday July 19, 2018 from 4-8 pm at the Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home Arlington Chapel Historic Route 7A, Arlington, VT. A Memorial service will be celebrated Friday July 20, 2018 at 10am at the Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Columbans Cemetery. If friends desire memorial gifts in Carole's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
