Catherine (Parent) (Bahan) Reed

Catherine (Parent) (Bahan)Reed, 90, a resident of East Street, passed away January 20, 2022, at Rivers Edge Community Care Home in Bennington. Catherine was born in Bennington on December 18, 1931 the daughter of the late John and Margery (Chandler) Parent. She attended Bennington schools, graduating from Bennington High School. Catherine worked as an operator for New England Telephone Company for many years and following the closing of the telephone company she worked at CB Sports. Catherine loved cats. She enjoyed crafts, flowers especially planting her flower beds, needle point, crocheting and genealogy (going back to her ancestry). Catherine is survived by her daughter Priscilla Crawford of Bennington, nephew Michael Parent (Donna) of Georgia, grandchildren Michael Crawford and Kelli (Crawford) Morin (Jeff) both of Bennington, 5 great granddaughters, 1 great grandson, 4 great-great granddaughters and 1 great-great grandson. Graveside funeral services for Catherine will be held in the spring in White Chapel Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
