Charles (Chad) A. Dufresne

Charles (Chad) A. Dufresne, 56, a resident of Route 7A, passed away November 8, 2021 at his home. Chad was born in Bennington on February 7, 1965 the son of Exaid and Constance Decker Dufresne. He attended Bennington schools, graduating from MT Anthony Union High School. Chad worked as a logger for many years and at NSK for 20 years. Chad loved to ride motorcycles and loved animals especially his dogs. He enjoyed kayaking, hiking and mountain biking. He enjoyed listening to classic rock especially the band RUSH. Chad is survived by his children Alexandria (Alex) Dufresne of North Bennington and Ian Coyne and Lindsay Brillon, both of North Adams, Massachusetts, his mother Constance Dufresne of Shaftsbury, wife Lisa Dufresne of North Bennington, brother Donald Dufresne (Ginny) of Bennington, sisters Heather Dufresne of North Carolina and Janice Senner (George) of Massachusetts, nephew Hunter Browe of North Carolina and grandson Luis (Baer) Beveraggi, jr of North Adams, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his father Exaid Dufresne. At the request of the family there are no formal funeral services.
