Christina M. (Cross) Baker

Christina M. (Cross) Baker passed away on July 26, 2015. She was born in Massachusetts on April 25, 1962 the daughter of the late Elmer L. Baker, Sr. and Irene C. (Blinstrub) Baker. Christina enjoyed playing cards, cooking, car racing and doing everything for everybody. She cherished times spent with her family especially her special grand daughter. Survivors include Christina's son James A. Cross and his wife Jennifer L. Cross and her very special grand daughter Nakita L. Cross of Bennington, Christina's daughters Lisa M. Cross of Nashua, NH and Tiffany Friend of Bennington, two loving people Matt Cross and Katie L. Cross of Bennington, sister Lynn C. Vallee of Bennington, brother Elmer L. Baker, Jr. of Williamstown, MA, several nieces and nephews and her boyfriend Scott Morey, Sr. and his children. She was predeceased by her sister Ann Marie Sherwood and brother William L. Baker. At the request of the family there will be no formal funeral service.Visiting hours will be held Friday July 31, 2015 from 5-7pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, Vermont when the family will be in attendance. Interment will be private. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Christina's memory may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation or the Second Chance Animal Shelter, c/o Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home P.O. Box 957 Bennington, Vermont 05201.
