Claudia M. Sullivan

Claudia M. Sullivan, 80, a resident of Fort Myers, Florida and Wilmington, Vermont passed away on August 20th 2024 at Albany Medical Center. She was born on August 17th 1944 in West Haven, CT to the late Caryll Kelly and Jerome Miller. On January 15, 1966 Claudia married Thomas G. Sullivan Jr. at Our Lady of Victory in West Haven, CT.
Claudia was a graduate with honors of West Haven High School and later attended Quinnipiac College. Until her retirement, Claudia joined her husband working at Sullivan & Son Carpet Inc. in Hamden, CT. Claudia was an amazingly selfless person putting her role as wife, mother to two sons and grandmother to three above all else.
She found the beauty in simple yet largely overlooked things like a cool summer breeze. The way the ocean water sparkles like diamonds. The fresh fragrance after a rainstorm. These things she instilled in her family. Claudia is survived by her spouse of 58 years Thomas G. Sullivan Jr., and her two children, TG Sullivan III and Brad Sullivan. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Thomas G. Sullivan IV, Kate J. Sullivan and Cassidy R. Sullivan as well as a great grandchild, Andrew Thomas Sullivan. Claudia also leaves beloved siblings, Nancy Spreyer, her husband Richard Spreyer, Jerol Sullivan and many nieces and nephews. Claudia was predeceased by her two older siblings, Jacqueline Manville and Caryll-Ellen Burns. All funeral services will be private.
