Clyde Twitchell Jr

Clyde Twitchell Jr, 81 of Whitingham VT died Sunday 7/7/24, peacefully at his home.

Born 3/15/43 In Boston hospital to the late Clyde Twitchell Sr and Ruth Fraser.

In 1957 the family farm was moved from Braintree MA to Whitingham VT.

He attended and graduated from the Whitingham Schools.

Clyde loved the outdoors. Fishing, gardening, and made several trips to CO to hunt with friends.  He loved hearing and watching his grandkids and neighbors’ kids playing outside, riding ATVs and being able to see the next generation start doing these things brought him much enjoyment.

He worked for Hermitage, Haystack and Joh Boyd but most people know him from working 30+ years in Maintenance at Chimney Hill

Survived by his sons: Karl (Jessie) of Whitingham VT and Brian (Jeannette) of Northeast MD  His grandchildren: Zach, Hailey, James, Roger (Ashley)  His great-grandchildren: Bradley, Austin, Logan and Oliver  Siblings: Carol Twitchell of Cohasset MA, Allan (Denise) and David (Pam) of Whitingham VT, Linda (Bob) Rosado Simpson of FL, Joseph Rosado of GA and Diana Rosado of Carver MA.  Many nieces, nephews, and cousins

Preceded in death by his brothers: Ronald, Howard and Brian.

Graveside services for Clyde will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2024 @ 11 am in Sadawga Cemetery.  No visiting hours.
