Cornelia "Connie" Fisher, 93, passed away peacefully Thursday June 11, 2015 in Manchester Center, VT where she had relocated to be near her son, Randy. She had previously resided in Vero Beach, FL and Briarcliff Manor, NY. She was born in Bronxville, NY on August 21, 1921, the daughter of Seymour and Carolyn (Westfall) Johnson. Mrs. Fisher graduated from Scarsdale (NY) High School and from Connecticut College with a Bachelor's Degree. She married Andrew Fisher in Scarsdale on October 10, 1942. She had a lifelong devotion to their Columbia County Farm in Brainerd, where she did extensive design work and renovation of their 1836 farmhouse. She had been a volunteer at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Tarrytown, NY and Trustee to the Shaker Museum in Chatham, NY. She loved to play the piano and sew, and she was an avid gardener. She was a devoted and caring mother who enjoyed raising her three children.Connie leaves her son Andrew "Randy" Fisher and his wife Jane of Manchester Center, daughter Carolyn Fisher of Springfield, MA, grandchildren Jordan Fisher of Philadelphia, and Will Fisher and Ann Fisher, both of Manchester Center. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Peter Fisher. Services will be private. Memorial gifts may be made to the VNA of Vero Beach FL in care of Brewster & Shea Funeral Home, P.O.
