Cynthia Joan Marsh

Cynthia Joan Marsh, 75, a resident of Gage Street, passed away October 16, 2022 at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation. Cynthia was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on August 30, 1947 the daughter of the late John and Mary (Harmon) Whiteway. She attended Shaftsbury and Arlington schools, graduating from Bennington High School in 1965. Cynthia worked for Watson Excavating, then as a stay home mom for her son Bryan. Cynthia enjoyed knitting, playing Solitaire, gardening and maintaining extensive flower beds. Cynthia is survived by her son Bryan (Wendy) Watson of Bennington, grandchildren John Watson and Bryan Matthew Watson (Brandi) both of Bennington, great grandchildren Bryce and Brianna Watson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband Ralph Watson whom she married in 1964 and passed away September 2, 2006, her second husband Robert Marsh whom she married in 2009 and passed away December 23, 2018, and her daughter Kimberly Watson-Shand who passed away April 13, 1987. Funeral services for Cynthia will be held Friday October 28, 2022 at 2pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT. Interment will follow in White Chapel Cemetery.
