Daniel W Allen

Daniel W. Allen, 52, a resident of McCall Street passed away November 17, 2024 at his home. Daniel was born in Bennington on December 6, 1971, the son of John E. and Beverly (Rice) Allen. He attended Mt Antony Middle School and Drury High School in North Adams. Daniel was a foreman for Vermont Roofing for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing video games. He was an accomplished artist working with paint and drawings. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed camping with his family. He loved animals, was a Dallas Cowboy and New York Yankee fan and enjoyed listening to all kinds of music especially country and rock. Most of all Daniel cherished times spent with his children singing and dancing. Daniel is survived by his children Ezra Allen and Amber Allen both of Bennington, his mother Beverly O’Dell of Bennington, brothers John Christman of St. Johnsbury, VT, Robert Christman (Amanda) of Northern, VT, Wayne Christman and David Allen of Bennington, Jerome Allen of Massachusetts and Beverly Lucky (Steven) of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his father John E. Allen. A celebration of life for Daniel will be held Saturday December 14, 2024 at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home from 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT 2-4pm.
