Daniel C Collette, Jr.

Daniel C. Collette, Jr., a resident of Middle Pownal Road, passed away November 24, 2023 at his home. Daniel was born in Bennington on December 29, 1967 the son of Daniel C. Collette, Sr. and Sally Mears, attended Bennington schools and Mt. Antony Union High School. Daniel worked at Energizer, Caramel Corrosion in Bennington and thoroughly enjoyed grounds keeping at Mt. Anthony Country Club. Daniel enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his parents Daniel C. and Sally (Mears) Collette, Sr. of Bennington, sons Aaron D Collette of Greenwich, NY, Steven Collette of Bennington, Chad Collette (Deanna) of Shaftsbury and Daniel C. Collette, III of New Hampshire, his daughter Heather Collette of Bennington, brothers Dennis Collette (Melissa), Dale Collette (Stephanie Curry), and Donny Collette all of Bennington, and Clayton Collette (Emily) of North Adams, his sister Wanda Plawinski of Bennington and grandchildren Aaron Jr., Khiana, Colton, Ayden, Bryson, Bexley and Steven, Jr., nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life for Daniel will be held and announced at a later date.
