Daniel Bryan Rifenburgh passed away suddenly on March 1st at his home. Daniel was born on September 23,1957 in Bennington, VT. The son of the late Leo and Eilleen (Bahan) Rifenburgh. Daniel leaves behind his beloved wife of 6 years Dawn Marie (Ogert) Rifenburgh,whom he met working at Bennington Walmart in February 2012. Dan and Dawn were married October 27, 2012. Dan leaves behind two brothers Leo and Bryan Rifenburgh of Hoosick Falls N.Y., a son Chris and daughter-in-law Christina Clay of Lynchburgh,VA, 3 stepsons Justin, Allen and Charles Bartlett, 3 step daughter-in-laws Stephanie, Tabitha and MyKayla Bartlett, 1 step daughter Kayla Bartlett and Fiance Nick Therieau, 5 Grandsons Zach, Nicholas, Deacon,Carter and Gunner and 1 Granddaughter Cheyenne. Dan also leaves behind 3 brother-in-laws Michael Ogert, Bruce Tower and Don McCloud. He was preceded in death by 2 brother-in-laws Steve Tatro and Kenneth Ogert. Dan also leaves behind 4 sister-in-laws Michele Tower, Bonnie McCloud, Dale Dennis and Gail Tatro. He was preceded in death one sister-in-law Sharon Ogert. Dan also leave many Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces and Friends. Dan leaves behind a very special friend Brenda Bruso. Daniel worked many places in his life. Daniel made tattoos, he loved to draw and paint and he loved to build creatures for Halloween and Christmas. Daniel loved doing Tag Sales. He was called the King of Tag sales. He loved making people happy, he always gave out big hugs and always made people laugh. What Dan Loved Most in his life was his wife Dawn. There will be no calling hours or funeral. There will be an all day Memorial Service at 120 Jefferson Ave, Bennington VT on April 28, 2018, starting at 9 AM, to Celebrate his Life and the Love that he shared with so many people.
