David A Roberts

David A. Roberts, 66, a resident of Roberts Road, passed away July 29, 2021 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. David was born in Bennington on September 28, 1954 the son of the late William and Marylou (Nacy) Roberts. He attended Manchester schools, graduating from Burr and Burton Seminary. David worked as a truck driver for Casella Waste Management for many years and previously for A&W Well Drilling. He was a member of the Harned-Fowler VFW in Manchester and enjoyed hunting, fishing, following his son and grandchildren when the played football and basketball and enjoyed listening to classic rock music. David is survived by his daughter Vanessa Roberts of Manchester, his son Atrau Roberts also of Manchester, his sister Donna Bushee (Fred) of Arlington, brothers William Roberts (Ginny) of Granville, NY, Joseph Roberts (Debbie) of South Carolina and Gary Roberts (Judy) of Pennsylvania and grandchildren Robbie Bessette, Dustin Joseph and Hunter Joseph. He was preceded in death by his wife Glenda Ford Roberts and his son David Roberts. Funeral services for David will be held Sunday August 8, 2021 at 3pm at Brewster-Shea Funeral Home 34 Park Place Manchester Center, VT. Interment will be followed in Factory Point Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday August 8, 2021 from 1-3pm, 2 hours prior to the service.
