David Brownell

David H. Brownell, 68, of Londonderry, Vermont, loving husband of Judith (Perrine) Brownell for over 35 years and devoted father of George William and Amanda Sue Brownell of Burlington, Massachusetts, passed away on May 2, 2017 at Grace Cottage Hospital in Townshend, Vermont after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. David was the son of the late George L. and Barbara H. Brownell of Londonderry, Vermont and the brother of Susan B. Woodbury of Worcester, Massachusetts and her husband, David. David was the uncle of David M. Mills of Boulder, Colorado and Andrew L. Mills of Brooklyn, New York, and brother-in-law to James and Robert Perrine. David was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was a graduate of Fryeburg Academy in Fryeburg, Maine and worked in the construction industry before retiring several years ago. David and Judi met at the Bromley Mountain Ski Area and shared a common interest in and love of the out of doors. David loved his faithful dogs, past and present. At David's request, there will be no memorial service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Grace Cottage Hospital, PO Box 1, Townshend, VT 05353.
