Dawn Black

Dawn Black, 76, a resident of Knoll Crest Lane, passed away April 20 at her home. Dawn was born in Burlington, VT on May 12, 1943 the daughter of the late Romain and Virginia Echo Letourneau, attended schools in Bennington, graduating from Catholic High School. Dawn worked at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center for 30 years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing bingo, going to the casinos, shopping and travelling. She is survived by her husband Gerald Black of Bennington whom she married November, 1967 in Bennington, her daughter Wanda Harper Joyce and her husband Michael of Colchester, VT, her grandchildren Matthew Joyce of SanDiego, CA and Sophie Joyce of Bar Harbour, ME and her brother Pierre Letourneau of Daytona, FL. At Dawn’s request there are no formal funeral services.
