Dawnette Greene

Dawnette L. (Dix) Greene died unexpectedly April 2, 2019 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA. Born February 9, 1974 to Patricia (Phelps) Knight at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, she attended schools in Monroe Bridge, graduating from Winnisquam Regional High School in Tilton, NH. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, swimming and working in her flower gardens. She had a great love for sports, especially baseball (Red Sox), NASCAR Racing and stock cars. She loved children, helping people however she could, poetry, animals and country music. Above all her greatest love was her family. Besides her mother Patricia and her step-father Ronald Knight she leaves her partner of 8 years Mark Covey of Swanton, VT, two sons Eric Greene (Jessica) of Whitingham and Devin Greene (Johnnie) of Gardner, MA, a step-son Dana Covey of Cornish, VT, three grandchildren Michael and Kiana Greene of Whitingham, VT and Noah Covey of White River, VT, three brothers Douglas Dix (Laurie) of Whitingham, Matthew Dix (Jennifer) of Hinsdale, NH and Gary Dix, Jr. (Cathy) of Putney, VT and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by a step-son Patrick Covey. A graveside service will be held Saturday May 4, 2019 at 11am at Jamaica Village Cemetery Route 30 Jamaica, VT. There are no visiting hours.
