Deborah Rose Cross

April 5, 1953 — July 12, 2024

Deborah Rose Cross, 71, died peacefully on Friday, July 12th with her daughters by her side at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. The daughter of late Myron & Eugenia Cross, she was born at the Bennington Hospital in 1953 and grew up on Ray Hill Road in Wilmington.  She graduated from Wilmington High School and then went to work at G. S. Precision, retiring after 45 years of employment. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife to her late husband Kevin, and a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going camping, going to the beach, gardening and scrapbooking in her free time. Debbie leaves behind her daughter Amber Robinson and husband Casey Munroe and grandson Devin, of North Haven, CT; daughter Ashton Robinson and husband Scott Horwath and granddaughters Blaikie and Ollie, of Searsburg; sister Donna and Mark Yule of Wilmington and Amanda and Kevin Butler of Whitingham; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Kevin Robinson in 2022 and brothers Michael & Randolph Cross. A graveside funeral service for Debbie will be held on Sunday August 4,2024 at 1pm at the Riverview Cemetery in Wilmington, VT. A  celebration of life will be held at Chez Nous (on route 9 west in Searsburg) following the service and in lieu of flowers please donate to the Stratton Mountain Volunteer Fire Department.
