Dennis C. Blunt

Dennis C. Blunt, 82, a resident of Bennington, passed away September 20, 2023 at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington. Dennis was born in Steelville, Missouri on July 11, 1941, the son of the late William Dale and Catherine (Clymer) Blunt. He graduated from Steelville High School and attended Trade School in St. Louis. After being honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, Dennis worked as a computer programmer/systems analyst for many years. Dennis loved running, particularly marathons and ultra-marathons, loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, and backpacking. He loved music, especially listening to the blues by Muddy Waters and B.B. King. He also enjoyed watching football and basketball. Dennis is survived by his daughters Rebecca Sentner (Michael) of Bennington and Lisa Kerhulas (Mark) of Oak Island, North Carolina, his sister Karen Robinson (Jim) of West Virginia, his grandson Daniel White, and great-granddaughter Cecilia White. He was preceded in death by his sister Sharon. At the request of the family, there are no formal funeral services.
