Donald Albert Davidson, 84 a former resident of Guilford passed away peacefully Monday October 5, 2015 at the Vermont Veterans Home. Born in Whitehall, NY on March 16, 1931, he was the son of Lester R. and Bertha Ann (Bellows) Davidson Sr.. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Donald grew up in the Wilmington area and had worked as a Sawyer. He enjoyed being outdoors, was mechanically inclined and liked to spend time tinkering on motors. For the past several years he had resided with his cousin Vivien Dubiel in Guilford; he is also survived by his sister Virginia Davidson and her husband George of Wilmington, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by seven siblings. He will be laid to rest in the family lot in Cutting Cemetery with military honors, services will be private.
