Donald Earl Sweet

Donald Earl Sweet, 73 a resident of Niles School Road in Pownal passed away peacefully on Friday October 21, 2016. The son of Richard H. and Dorothy (Busl) Sweet, Donald was born in Bennington on December 17, 1943. For many years he had helped on the family farm in Pownal. He enjoyed watching old Westerns, all types of animals, bowling and art- especially painting and coloring. He loved food and liked to “be the Sheriffâ€Â. He will be remembered for his kind, generous and outgoing personality .He leaves his brother Clifford Sweet of Pownal, sister Eleanor Sweet of North Bennington, nieces, nephews and cousins.He will be laid to rest with his parents at the Oak Hill Cemetery in a private ceremony.
