Dorothy F.(Desouza) Prentiss

Dorothy F.(DeSouza) Prentiss, 89, of Acton, MA and Chester, VT passed away on January 29, 2022 with her children by her side. She was predeceased by the love of her life Brian A Prentiss,Sr. after 73 years of marriage. Dorothy was born on February 15, 1932. She lived in Acton, MA for 74 years where she attended Acton High School. She worked at Regional Transportation and Atlantic Prehung Doors until her retirement. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Deborah FM Robinson of Boxborough and sons Brian A Prentiss, Jr. and David J Prentiss of Vermont, grandchildren Brian, III, Kristina, Chloe and David, several great grandchildren and a great- great grandchild. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed working in her asparagus and strawberry gardens. Dorothy was President of Acton Alumnai Association for many years. Graveside service will be held February 9, 2022 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Central St W. Acton MA at 11am.
