E. Herbert Sanderson

E. Herbert Sanderson , 72 a resident of Readsboro went home to the Lord on Thursday June 7, 2018 with his family at his side. The son of Earl F. and Dirce N. (Marchegiani) Sanderson he was born in Westfield, MA on April 7, 1946. Herb enjoyed many activities including drawing, reading, watching NASCAR racing, going for walks, antique cars and going to camp with his brothers. He was a fan of the Boston Red Sox. Herb leaves his Zia Ada Libardi , with whom he lived, brothers Robert (Sue) Sanderson and Mike ( Sandra) Libardi all of Readsboro, sisters Earlene Lefebvre of Readsboro, Faun (George) Trumble of Summerton, SC and Gloria (John) Quinn of Englewood, FL. He also leaves four aunts, an uncle , his friend Shelley and many cousins. His brother in law Robert Lefebvre predeceased him on February 6. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 11 at 11am at St. Joachim's Church , burial will follow in the Village Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial gifts may be made in Herb's memory to St. Joachim's Church or the Readsboro Community Library in care of the Covey Allen & Shea Funeral Home, P.O. Box 215, Wilmington, VT 05363.
