Edith Ida Elizabeth Houle, 100, a resident of Colrain Road passed away Saturday March 19, 2016 at Charlene Manor in Greenfield. Edith was born in Worcester, MA on June 23, 1915 the daughter of Louis and Hilda (Nordbeck) Renaud. She attended schools in Quincy, MA graduating from Quincy High School. Edith enjoyed camping with her family and traveling as well as doing crafts and playing the organ. She was very actively associated with the Shelburne Falls, MA congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and found deep satisfaction in sharing her faith with others. She was very family orientated and cherished times spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was the wife of Arthur Houle who passed away in 1984. Edith is survived by her son David and his wife Jane of Glastonbury, CT, daughters Joanne Dupuis of Whitingham, VT and June Martinetto and her husband Timothy of Silver Springs, FL, sister Vera Desaulniers of Atlanta, GA, eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren. FUNERAL SERVICE: A celebration of Edie's life will be held Saturday afternoon, March 26th, at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 290 Shelburne Road, Greenfield, MA. There are no visiting hours. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Edith's memory may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Shelburne Falls, MA Congregation c/o Covey-Allen & Shea Funeral Home P.O.
