Edna V Milonas

Edna V Milonas passed into the hands of God on February 13, 2023. She was born on June 17,1935 to loving parents Ralph and Edna Schaefer in Queens, NY. She moved and grew up in Carle Place, NY where she spent her youth. After high school she worked in some manufacturing companies in the purchasing department. She later worked at Long Island University as a secretary in the Education and Leadership department, working with principals and superintendents.

She married Nicholas Milonas in 1963 and settled in E. Norwich, New York where she raised her daughter Alisa and son Greg. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sailing and going to the beach.

After her divorce, she moved to Vermont in 2002 with her life partner George where she spent her retirement years skiing, gardening, decorating her home and taking care of her beloved dogs and cats. Edna especially enjoyed her summer days tending to her gardens and relaxing by the pool. She also enjoyed get togethers with family and friends.

She is survived by George, her daughter Alisa and son in law Joe, son Greg and daughter in law Stacey and grandchildren Nicole, Ari and Francine, all of whom she loved very deeply.
