Edna J. Winslow, 84, a resident of North Street and lifelong resident of Bennington, passed away March 15, 2021 at the Vermont Veterans Home. Edna was born in Bennington on September 5, 1936 the daughter of the late Frederick and Doris Harrington Knight and attended local schools. Edna worked as a librarian for many years even after retirement. She also worked as a dental hygienist, the Thompson Mill and CB Sports. She enjoyed painting, art, making crafts and loved drawing. She loved animals and cherished times spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Edna is survived by her sons Robert Harrington, Jr. of North Adams. MA, Stephen Harrington of Bennington and Frederick Winslow and his wife Barbara of Stillwater, NY, daughters Elizabeth Roland of DesMoines, Iowa and Cynthia Davis and her husband Steve of Middlebury, VT, her sister Joyce Burgess of Bennington and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Gregory Winslow whom she was married to for 44 years who passed away December 25, 2020. At the request of the family there are no formal funeral services.
