Edward K. Slavin

Edward K. Slavin passed on Nov. 8th, 2019 with his loving family by his bedside at his home on 80 Franklin St Rutland, VT 05701 due to a brief illness. Eddie’s love of life was playing golf, cooking and going to Florida to spend time with his mummzie. Eddie was a high school graduate from Burr & Burton Academy. He was a hard worker just out of high school he was employed at the I.G.A. Grocery store as the produce manager. He also work at the Midway Diner as a short order cook for many years in Rutland, VT. Eddie was a very caring moving man. He held on to life until his Fishlips and James Bourn got to his bedside. Eddie was survived by his companion Marion E. Bourn of 46 years. His sisters Debbie Cram and Dottie Carver Pond, brother Steven Kibbler, brother a.k.a cousin Doug Slavin. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Eddie was predeceased by his mother Deloris Slavin Markey, his stepfather Roger Markey, his Grandma Slavin and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling/memorial hours are from 5-7pm on Friday November 15th, 2019 at Brewster Funeral Home in Manchester, VT.
