Emery Boudreau

Emery Boudreau died peacefully at his home in Manchester, Vermont on November 22, 2015. Born on December 2, 1925 in Barachois, New Brunswick, Canada to Aurelie and Yvon Boudreau; Emery was one of eight children. He married Rose LeBlanc on September 7, 1947 in New Bedford, MA. They raised their five children in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Emery owned and operated a construction company building homes in the Danbury, CT area. Emery moved to Manchester, VT where he continued in the construction business. Emery retired in 1989. He and Rose took an extended tour of the United States, Mexico and Canada in their motor home. Emery was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed piloting his own airplane, skiing and golfing. Emery is survived by his wife Rose of 68 years, his daughter Rachel Botelho and her husband Richard from New Fairfield, CT, daughter Claudet Boudreau from Manchester, VT, son Bernard Boudreau and wife Kathy from Manchester, VT, son Marc Boudreau and wife Ann from Westport, CT, and son Greg Boudreau and his wife Lisa of Redding, CT. Emery is also survived by his sister Claudette Cormier of Barachois, New Brunswick, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several dozen nieces and nephews.
