Eva Emmaline (Elliot) Grusendorf

Mrs. Eva Emmaline (Elliot) Grusendorf (age 90) of Pownal, Vermont passed away on February 7, 2024 of natural causes. Eva was born on February 23, 1933 to Homer and May Elliot in Birdsell, New York. Eva married Lyle Frederick Grusendorf (April 6,1927 -Dec 7, 1992) in Filmore New York on January 19, 1952. They moved to Vermont in 1958 when Lyle took a job at Bennington Potters. Eva would also eventually work as a finisher at Bennington Potters until her retirement at 80 years old. She was an active member of several local churches through the years, the last being The Williamstown Baptist Church. She played piano and Organ and enjoyed the Arts. She is survived by her 6 children. Rev. John Grusendorf, Karl Grusendorf, David Grusendorf, Theresa Cavagnaro, Dawn Fressola, Rebecca Grusendorf, 14 Grandchildren, many Great Grand Children, and several Great, Great Grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home Thursday February 15th at 3 P.M.
