Fawn Brown

Fawn Brown, 70, a resident of Lincoln Street, passed away April 25, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Fawn was born in New York on July 20, 1948 the daughter of the late Hymus and Lillian West Rose and attended local schools. Fawn worked for many years as a nurses assistant in many of the area nursing homes. She married Ralph Brown, Sr. and they remained married for many years until his passing. She enjoyed taking care of people, crocheting, listening to country music, her dogs and cherished times spent with her family. Fawn is survived by her son Florian Mayer of Bennington, brother John Rose of Bennington, sister Beatrice Gulley of Shaftsbury and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Brown, Sr., brother Billy West and sisters Bonnie Clark and Nancy Rose. Funeral services for Fawn will be held Thursday May 2, 2019 at 3pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT. Interment will be private. There are no visiting hours.
