Freda J Wright

Freda J Wright 91 current resident of Port Charlotte, Florida and longtime resident of Chestnut St in Brattleboro VT passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 12, 2022. The daughter of late Charles and Katherine (Rusnock) Corogenes, she was born in Troy, New York on July 25, 1930. Freda grew up in Bennington VT and graduated from Bennington High School, Class of 1948. Freda was an accomplished artist and after moving to Florida in 2019 she continued to do watercolor paintings of the local scenery. As well as an artist she loved to sew, quilt, read, and swim. While living in Florida she had started playing golf again. She also bought a 3-wheel bicycle and you could find her riding around the neighborhood. Freda is survived by her daughter Pamela Wright of San Diego, CA, sons Gary Wright and wife Sue of Punta Gorda, Florida and Robert Wright and wife Kelle of San Diego Ca. She leaves three grandchildren Max Wright, Lucas Wright and Mallory Wright who loved her dearly. Graveside service will be held on June 4, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the family lot in the Old Bennington Cemetery, 1 Monument Circle Bennington VT. A reception will follow at Madison Brewing Company and Pub at 428 Main St Bennington VT.
