Frederick G. Nutting, 54 a resident of Town Hill Road passed away on Friday June 2, 2017 at The Centers For Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington following a long illness. The son of Frederick L. and Shirley (Davis) Nutting, Fred was born in Brattleboro on March 22, 1963. He was a graduate of Wilmington High School, Class of 1983, following high school he graduated from tractor trailer driving school. Fred had worked throughout the area at Mt. Snow, G.S. Precision, John McLeod Woodworking and most recently at Hannaford Supermarket in Brattleboro. Fred was mechanically inclined and a car enthusiast, he enjoyed working on cars and small engine equipment. Fred liked to go fishing, camping and being with his friends. The highlight of his time at CLR was visits with his family, brother-in-law Bob who stopped in almost everyday and those who cared. He leaves his parents Fred and Shirley Nutting of Marlboro, brother Larry Nutting and long time girlfriend Pat Johnson of Wilmington, sisters Mary Lazelle and husband Steve of Wilmington, Pat Davis of Brattleboro, Linda Higgins and husband Bob of Bennington and Judy Strange of Brattleboro, plus several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be private with burial in the Nutting family lot in Riverview Cemetery in Wilmington.
