George A. Paulin, 79, a resident of Bennington, passed away July 25, 2022 at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation. George was born in Turners Falls, Massachusetts on July 22, 1943 the son of the late Camille and Anita Roy Paulin attended local schools achieving a Bachelor, Degree. George was a concert pianist, playing all over the world including for the Pope at the Vatican. He was also highly interested in antiques and was the organist for the Shaftsbury United Methodist Church for many years. George is survived by his siblings Adele Paulin of Massachusetts and Jeanette Bruno of New Hampshire, close friend Paul Thomas and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings Roy, Philip and Francis Paulin and Rita Sak and Camilla Pratt. A liturgy of Christian death and burial will be celebrated August 9, 2022 at 11am at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church in Bennington, VT. Interment will be in Turners Falls, Massachusetts. There are no visiting hours. If friends desire, memorial gifts in George’s memory may be made to the Maryknolls, c/o Hanson-Walbridge and Shea Funeral Home P.O. Box 957 Bennington, VT 05201.
