George Blight Garrett Robb

March 24, 1947 — February 14, 2020

George Blight Garrett Robb, known as Garry, age 72, of Pocono Pines, PA and Bondville, VT, died February 14, 2020, while skiing at Stratton with his wife Kathleen and two great friends. Garry joined the Army after college, served as a commissioned officer and volunteered to serve in the Vietnam conflict with Special Forces. He ran multiple recon missions in Vietnam developing a lifelong brotherhood with his teammates. Garry worked in the ski industry as an alpine ski instructor, racing coach and manufacturer’s rep. After retirement he instructed incoming candidates for Special Forces at several military bases. Garry wanted to give back to the community that had positively impacted his life. Garry’s greatest role was being a loving husband and father. Garry is survived by his wife Kathleen (née Tetreault), his son Gavin (Sofya), his sister-in-law in-law and friend, Peggy Waddington (Bill), his brother, Tom (Linda) and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many close friends.
