Gloria Jean Sheldon

Gloria Sheldon, age 72, from Arlington, VT passed away peacefully November 17, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 1, 1947 in Arlington, VT. Gloria was the 4th of 15 children. Gloria was a homemaker all her life and found great pride in cooking, cleaning and taking care of her children, grandchildren and even her great-grandchildren later on. She also enjoyed playing cards, doing word searches, listening to country music, going to the casino and most of all, visiting, drinking coffee, and eating sweets with her family and friends. Gloria is survived by her husband, Fred, of 51 years, her children, Lisa (Ken) Towsley of Fair Haven, VT, Margaret (Jim) Pike of Sunderland, VT, Sandra Sheldon of Arlington, VT, Lavina (Pat) Hawley, and Moses (Mandi) Sheldon of Arlington, VT. The joys of her life, her 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, along with 13 of 15 of her siblings and many nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leroy. At the families request in lieu of flowers please make donations to SVHC Foundation in memo put Margaret Rehm Fund.
