Harvey J. Pratt, Jr.

Harvey J. Pratt, Jr., 58, a resident of Farnsworth Road in Cuba, NY and formerly of Cambridge, NY, passed away July 21, 2015 at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, NY. Harvey was born on July 8, 1957 the son of the late Harvey J. Pratt, Sr. and Frances Webb and attended local schools. Harvey owned and operated Harvey & Son's Tree Service in Cambridge for many years. He loved being in the woods hunting and fishing. He loved hearing the sound of rain on a tin roof, playing poker, restoring classic cars and he cherished times spent with his family. Harvey is survived by his wife Jennifer Pratt of Cuba, NY, children Penny Persad of Granville, NY, Jason Pratt of Sumter, SC, Joshua Pratt of Bennington, Sarah Hamilton of Cambridge, Nicholas DeGennaro of Bennington, Chad Lanteigne of Paoli, PA, Harvey Pratt, III of Bennington, Shawna Pratt of Cuba, NY and Jeremy Pratt also of Cuba, NY, siblings Kimber Barron, Constance Rock, Tracy Pratt, Cecil Pratt, Dennis Pratt, Tanya Mayer, Kyle Gardner, Aaron Gardner, Bernie Moffitt, Andy Moffitt, Danny Moffitt and Crystal Rae, twenty one grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Viola M. Pratt. Funeral services for Harvey will be held Saturday July 25, 2015 at 2pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, Vermont. There will be a visiting hour from 1-2pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be private.
