Ilona M. Rice

Ilona M. Rice, 76, a resident of Berwal Road, passed away October 17, 2022 at her home. Ilona was born in New York City on August 6, 1946 the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Guerin) Cika, attended local schools and earned a Masters Degree in Education. Ilona was a teacher in the North Rockland County School District for over 30 years, was an avid Equestrian and horse lover, loved her dogs and was a very creative person. Ilona is survived her sister Yolan Slater of Danbury, Connecticut, her aunt Nelly Boyd of North Salem, NY, her nephews Tyler Slater of Danbury, Connecticut and Brett Slater of Wiscasset, Maine and other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Denis Rice who passed away in 2015.
