James L. “Jim” Carbin, 84 a former resident of Adams and North Adams, Massachusetts passed away peacefully at The Vermont Veterans Home on Tuesday September 1, 2020 . The son of John and Dorothea Minnie (Ducharme) Carbin he was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on December 11, 1935. Jim was a military veteran serving with the U.S. Army in the Korean War . Throughout his life he had worked as a truck driver , for many years he was employed by R.B. Bator Trucking in Adams. He leaves his two sons James Carbin of Bennington and Wayne Carbin of Adams, brothers Philip Carbin of North Adams and Frank Carbin of North Hampton , a sister Susan Carbin of Leeds/North Hampton, two grandchildren Tiffany and Danielle Carbin, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother John Carbin. Jim will be interred privately in the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery in North Hampton.
