Janet Snow

Janet E. Snow, 83, a resident of Holliday Drive, passed away June 9, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. Janet was born in Manchester, VT on June 21, 1933 the daughter of the late Roger and Amy (Rubadeau) Dorr and attended Dorset schools. In her earlier years, she worked with her husband Harold owning and operating Snow's Garage. She then worked at Stanley Tools for over ten years and then with her husband owning and operating Snow's Metal Treating. Janet enjoyed snowmobiling and riding motorcycles, riding thousands of miles. She enjoyed listening to country music, animals of any kind, dancing in her earlier years and generally just having fun. She is survived by her husband Harold Snow of Shaftsbury whom she married in Dorset, VT in 1951 and recently celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary, and cousins Charlie Door and Richard and George Rubadeau. Funeral services for Janet will be held Sunday June 25, 2017 at 2pm at the Federated Church of East Arlington. Interment will be private. There are no visiting hours.
